The parties include campouts, slumber parties, princess parties, tea parties, magic parties, sports parties, dinosaur parties and cookie baking parties! Below is an idea of what to expect from a Posh Party Box party:
Dinosaur Birthday Party
The Dinosaur Dig birthday party makes every child a junior paleontologist! The party in a box includes a large clay rock for each child so that they can dig for dinosaur bones and build their own dinosaur. Everything is included in this unique, fun excavation adventure from excavation helmets to goggles! Party for six is $168. Additional guests are $30.50.
Girl’s Tea Party
From the moment the guest of honor’s friends receive their teapot invitation until they sit down adorned in feather boa, floppy pink hat, strand of pearls and boutique-quality sequined purse, they’ll be wrapped up in the Posh Party Box celebratory magic. Of course, the party wouldn’t be complete without a china doll, rose-painted porcelain tea cup and matching tiny porcelain tea cup very each child! The box is $224 for six guests and $27 for each additional guest.
Camping Party (suggested ages 5-10 years old)
The Happy Camper party box is designed to give boys and girls memories for a lifetime! The party includes many hard-to-find, authentic items such as canteens, mess kits and backpacks designed for each guest to take home after the party. The box is $208 for eight guests and $25 for each additional guest.
Trail mix is fun for kids to make – especially at a camp out party. Simply arrange your favorite ingredients in large bowls on a table and provide zip lock baggies to each child. Provide guidance so that kids get a good mix but it’s also a wonderful opportunity for creativity!
The first three ingredients are great for your basics. Then select some from the below list from which the kids can choose!
Enjoy!
As the heat of summer starts to cool, back to school is on the minds of families. To take the edge off and give your child a jumpstart on her social life, why not host a unique sleep over party? Whether you plan your own party or use one of Posh Party Box’s unique celebrations – like the Socadelic Sleepover for tweens – your guests will enjoy the below activities:
For a music theme, ask guests to dress up as their favorite musician. The other kids can guess who they are. For games, offer karaoke, act out songs and have guests guess what they are. Depending on age, musical chairs is fun too! For party favors, give guests CDs filled with songs selected by your child.
For a fashion party, ask guests to dress up with a princess, royalty or wealthy rich theme in mind. Serve fancy finger foods, and use elegant dishes. For activities – depending on age – either give girls beauty makeovers, manicures and pedicures or have the girls give them to each other. Once makeovers are complete, host a fashion show, snapping photos of girl walking the runway. For party favors, give pictures of girls on the runway or offer purse gift bags with nail polish, lip gloss, etc. Be sure to check out our Glamour Nights party as the entire party becomes a gift bag!
Another fun theme is performance arts. Ask guests to dress as a pop diva, movie star, ballet dancer, belly dancer… The possibilities are endless! The menu can include colorful, exotic items. For an activity, videotape each guest as they perform their talent. The kids can make up dance routines, watch old movies that tie in, host a talent show, etc.
Nearly all kids love ice cream sandwiches. Even more so – ice cream cakes! We’ve combined the two ideas below for a dessert sensation that will make lasting impressions on your guests. Ask your kids to help make it!
Ingredients:
Cut one ice cream sandwich in half. Place one whole ice cream sandwich and one half of an ice cream sandwich side by side across the short end of a 9 x 13 pan. Next to those ice cream sandwiches, arrange 8 more ice cream sandwiches lengthwise, to cover the bottom of the pan. Spread half of the hot fudge ice creaming topping over the first layer. Top with half of the whipped topping. Next, repeat the layers. To top off, sprinkle with crumbled Oreos, M&Ms, crushed Butterfinger or any of your child’s favorite treats. Freeze approximately three hours before serving. Serves 20-24, depending on how many come back for seconds!
Servings: 6
In a blender, mix the lemon juice and sugar for approximately 30 seconds. Add two cups of water and half the ice and mix, crushing the ice. Add the remaining ice and water. Blend on high speed until mixed! Top with marschino cherry or umbrella to make your creation even more special!
Of all the positive feedback we get from our customers, there’s one comment that rises above the others: how gloriously impressive and time saving our parties are. As you are reading this, you may think this sounds like shameless self-promotion but, really, if you’ve tried our parties, you know what I’m talking about.
Posh Party Box was founded with two principals in mind: to save hosts time and to offer one-of-a-kind, chic parties. There is a shortfall of upscale party companies offering tasteful, unique party items. Not only do we serve this need, we also make sure our parties are impressive – the party items are delightful and nearly every single thing you receive is a party favor for the guests. For instance, the La-Tea-Da little girl’s tea party – each guest takes home a gorgeous, collectible porcelain doll (with gleaming hair and amazing eye lashes!), rose-painted china cup and saucer, miniature china tea up and saucer for each doll, floppy hat with flower, boa, strand of pearls and a tasteful sequined purse with miniature pearl strap. The party is the memory maker and your party favors – utterly impressive.
At Posh Party Box, every party is designed with our principals in mind. So, sit back and let us do the work so you can relax and enjoy the rewards!
While children’s birthday parties are some of our most popular, every once in a while, it’s time for the adults to have a little celebration of their own! As summer draws to a close, why not have a season end luau celebration? One of our most elegant and memorable parties, Pineapples in Paradise, offers flower leis for women and Kuku Nut leis for men, ceramic pineapple bowls, wooden plates, coconut cups with flower and straw, authentic shells to scatter on tables and much, much more!
Visit our site for some mouth-watering recipes like Pork Kabobs with Pineapple Mango Salsa and Mai Tais. Below are more recipes that you can use for a luau or any other season end party!
Servings: 4-6
Stir everything except the pineapple wedges together and chill. Stir again before pouring into the shaker because the mango juice will settle to the bottom. Pour into a shaker with lots of ice and shake vigorously. Then pour into chilled martini glasses and add wedges or fresh pinapple for a garnish!
Serves: 6 Ingredients:
Soak wooden skewers in water for an hour before using. Preheat grill for medium-high heat. Cut bacon into thirds. Wrap a piece of bacon around each scallop and thread onto skewers. There should be 3-4 scallops per skewer. Lightly coat in olive oil and season with garlic salt and fresh cracked pepper. Grill for about 4 minutes per side. When the scallop is opaque in color, remove from grill and serve.
Servings 8 Ingredients:
Preheat the oven to 375. Bake potatoes until tender, for about 1 hour. Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a skillet on medium heat until crispy. Drain on papertowels, break into small pieces and set aside. When potatoes are done, let them cool for 15 mins. Slice potatoes lengthwise and gently scoop flesh into a bowl. To the potato flesh, add sour cream, milk, butter, salt and pepper, 1/2 cup cheese and green onions (optional). Mix until creamy. Line skins on a foil covered baking sheet. Scoop mixture evenly into skins, cover with remaining cheese and bacon and cook on 375 for 15 minutes.
