Clever Halloween Costumes

Junk Drawer
This one's easy!  All you do is dress your child in all one color and attach items from your junk drawer to the clothing.  Pencils, a tape dispenser, drawings, ribbon spools - whatever you have!

Static Cling
Take a black sweat suit and pin socks, a little towel, a dryer sheet, etc. to it.  Mousse and spray your hair to stand on end.

Peace & Quiet
For a great partner’s costume, ask one person to dress up like a hippie and the other to dress up like a mime.

Black Eyed Pea
Wear black pants and a white shirt. Get some black makeup cream or black eyeliner and draw a circle around one eye to look like a black eye. With a fat permanent marker or some black felt, make a huge black "P" on your chest.

Freudian Slip
This one really only works for the ladies- although it would be hilarious on a guy as well. Get a one-piece white slip and write FREUD on it with a thick black marker.

Bag of Jelly Beans
Wear a white body suit and tights. Make a bag out of clear cellophane and wrap it around your body. Blow up small colored balloons and place them in the clear bag. Tie the bag with colored ribbon. For the final touch, use a marker or make a sign that says “jelly beans” for your bag!

Cotton Candy
Again, wear white body suit and tights (or a sweat suit works too). Loosely wrap pink tulle from waist to head, using pins to make sure the tulle is secure. Make sure to leave the tulle loose so it’s puffy like cotton candy!
